DALLAS, Sept. 8, 2026 — The Texas Stock Exchange announced today that all major global index providers — including S&P DJI, MSCI, and FTSE Russell — have completed updating their methodologies to feature TXSE-listed securities. These changes ensure that as leading public companies transfer their primary listing to the Texas Stock Exchange, these companies will continue to be featured in all major U.S. indices, including the broad spectrum of products that replicate or reference them.
“Never before has an exchange secured such comprehensive index eligibility at this stage,” said TXSE senior advisor Laura Morrison, who previously served as global head of indices and ETPs at the New York Stock Exchange. “With no barriers to inclusion in the major indexes, a primary listing on TXSE is now an even more attractive opportunity for management and boards.”
As the only primary listing venue in the state of Texas, TXSE reaching this milestone is a major victory for building capital markets in the state.
“Companies can now bring their primary listings to TXSE knowing that index participation is not a limiting factor,” added Texas Stock Exchange Chairman and CEO James H Lee. “Securing full index participation for our listed securities from all of the major providers is another institutional validation of what we have built and further cements TXSE as part of the global market system.”
This progress follows TXSE’s successful integration of production trading in the national market system, which delivered the broadest Day One participation of member firms in a half-century. Index providers whose methodologies feature TXSE-listed securities include but are not limited to: Alpha Vee, CRSP/Morningstar, FTSE Russell, Indxx, Market Vector Indexes, MSCI, Nasdaq, S&P DJI, Solactive, Syntax, and VettaFi.
