Dallas, TX – BankSocial®, an open banking and modern financial technology platform for credit unions and community banks, announced the appointment of veteran credit union executive, board director, and strategic advisor Robin Kolvek to its Advisory Board.
With over 25 years of executive leadership spanning credit unions, financial services, and fintech, Kolvek brings a proven track record of guiding organizations through high-growth transformations, complex M&A integrations, go-to-market strategies, and ecosystem alignment. Her appointment strengthens BankSocial’s commitment to uniting credit unions with modern, human-centric financial innovation.
“Robin’s deep roots in the credit union ecosystem and her unmatched ability to turn strategy into operational reality make her an invaluable addition to BankSocial,” said John Wingate, CEO and Founder of BankSocial. “She understands both the core operational realities credit unions face and the strategic opportunities created by next-generation financial technology. Her guidance will be key as we continue scaling our solutions to empower credit unions and the members they serve.”
Kolvek joined EPL in 2013 and served as President & CEO starting in 2017 following its acquisition by Dedagroup North America. She spearheaded the U.S. integration of Intech and guided the 2020 launch of the VisiFI brand, uniting Dedagroup, EPL, and Intech under a single identity. Following the 2024 acquisition of Share One, Kolvek helped lead the 2025 merger of VisiFI and Share One to form DedaSphere, an organization serving more than 150 credit unions and 1.5 million members.
Today, Kolvek serves as the Founder of Nexus Community Advisors, where she partners with CEOs, boards, credit unions, community banks, and fintechs to accelerate growth, foster leadership, and generate long-term community value. In her new advisory role, she will collaborate closely with BankSocial’s leadership team to accelerate market adoption, strengthen strategic partnerships, and ensure the company’s platform aligns seamlessly with the evolving needs of community financial institutions.
