It first took place in 2022; the Point Zero Forum is now on its third edition. The annual meeting of policymakers, central bankers, regulators, experts, innovators, and crypto disruptors takes place in Zurich, Switzerland in just three weeks. This year’s line-up, like each year, doesn’t disappoint. The list of leading cryptocurrency businesses representatives in attendance is impressive.
Last year Sergey Nazarov of Chainlink was one of the highlights of the Forum. It was his talks coupled with other crypto initiatives like the Canton Network, a privacy-focused blockchain network for institutional finance, that made the 2024 Forum so disruptive.
R3 Represented at the Point Zero Forum 2025
As a British-based publication, Disruption Banking is always on the lookout for UK-based disruptors who are shaking up capital markets. One of those British disruptors is without doubt R3. R3 was founded in 2014 and quickly became a leader through its blockchain capabilities, especially its Corda platform. Its customers include HSBC, Bank of America, the Bank of Thailand, the Bank for International Settlement, and the Hong Kong and Singapore Monetary Authorities.

Why is the Point Zero Forum Such a Magnet for Crypto Companies?
It is no surprise that so many disruptive companies are represented at the Point Zero Forum. The Forum places great emphasis on digital asset networks and blockchain governance. Crypto companies are drawn to the Forum because it offers a stage to advance their goals in regulatory-compliant blockchain solutions, interoperable digital assets networks, and ethical governance. It’s a chance to engage with global stakeholders, shape the narrative, and solidify their role as leaders in the decentralized economy.
Central banks like the European Central Bank, and the central banks of Ireland, England, Switzerland, Japan, Spain, Lithuania, Korea, Rwanda, Croatia, Germany, South Africa, Singapore, Brazil, France, Denmark, and Estonia are all present. Digital assets specialists from financial institutions like UBS, HSBC, JP Morgan, BNY, Euroclear, Santander, Standard Chartered, and Robinhood. There are other banking professionals at the Forum, however, they represent different sectors like payments or ESG.
It has been a pleasure to watch the growth of the Point Zero Forum and the Global Finance and Technology Network over the years. Disruption Banking is proud to be represented at such a prestigious event. For details on tickets this year and to use a special 30 percent discount for our readers click here.
