Bucharest, April 2023

Artificial intelligence is changing the world as we speak. But human intelligence is here to stay. Along with innovative thinking, industry insight and collaboration are the ingredients of success in business. No matter how digital we get, these things are best done live, face to face. Because people need to know and trust each other when they talk about money.

And talk about money we shall. In all forms, shapes and colours. This year is special. The tectonic plates are shifting and if you work in finance you know it. 2023 is a year of reckoning. We all need to be involved. Central bankers, commercial bankers, fintech innovators, technology companies, investors and ecosystem players. We have a place to meet. This summer at Unchain Fintech Festival, in Oradea, the heart of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), between the 29th and 30th of June 2023.

This is the only event that commits to gathering the region together. Last year we had over 30 countries represented and we are in driving distance from all CEE capitals. This year, we have a plane charter just for you, just for this event. You`ll be in great company, with the National Banks of Romania, Hungary and Croatia and chatting with Banca Comerciala Romana, Banca Transilvania, OTP Bank, Visa, Google, Ripple. Many more to join.

The topics discussed will include the digital Euro, the new EU fintech regulations, CBDCs, BNPL, open finance and open banking, DeFi, lending and security, web 3 and blockchain. All within robust panels with real use cases and real business stories with real numbers on 3 different content stages. Speaking of numbers, in only 2 days you will have the chance to meet 100+ financial entities that have a say in the game. Our agenda is all set and the first speakers have been announced. You should check them out.

The regional collaboration and growth Unchain brings to the table has already begun with our series of digital events – Unchain Demo Days. The first one took place on the 23rd of March. The next one is coming soon, on April 20. We will share the status of startups, accelerators and VCs from Austria, Czechia, Poland and Slovakia. This will be just a small taste of Unchain Fintech Festival, where we will host a dedicated stage for pitching, where fintech startups will compete to get to the next level.

“It’s like attending a summer festival for fintech & financial services” – Maria Staszkiewicz – European Digital Finance Association, Czech Republic.

One of the strong points of Unchain Fintech Festival is that it is an outdoor business conference set in a beautiful, historical avenue in one of the fastest growing cities in Central Eastern Europe: Oradea. The whole experience is meant to unchain the full potential of networking and profound, human connection between professionals with similar passions. The city also boasts a modern, state-of-the-art waterpark, a chic, art-nouveau old centre and lots of parks and potential family activities.

Tickets for Unchain Fintech Festival are available in a very limited number. We have fully booked the best hotel in Oradea – DoubleTree by Hilton – and participants have priority to the best rooms on a first come, first served basis.
