London, 4 August 2026: Revolut, the global fintech with more than 75 million customers worldwide, today announces the appointment of Sid Jajodia, its Chief Banking Officer, as an Executive Director on the Board of Revolut Group Holdings Ltd, subject to regulatory approvals.
The appointment reflects the growing scale of Revolut’s global banking operations, which Sid has overseen since joining the company in 2021. In the past year alone, Revolut launched its fully licensed UK bank following approval from the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), began full banking operations in Mexico and Australia – its first banking operations outside Europe – and applied for a national bank charter in the United States. Revolut also operates across the entire European Economic Area under its European banking licence.
Sid brings more than two decades of experience across retail and commercial lending and regulation. He was previously CEO of Credit at PayU, spent four years at LendingClub as Chief Investment Officer and VP of Risk Management, and earlier spent 12 years at Capital One, latterly as SVP and Head of SME Lending.
Martin Gilbert, Chairman of Revolut Group, said: “Expanding our banking operations to more countries is central to Revolut’s strategy, and Sid has been instrumental to that expansion, from our UK bank launch to our first bank outside Europe. His appointment reflects the scale and importance of that work as we continue to grow globally.”
Sid Jajodia, Revolut’s Chief Banking Officer and Executive Director said: “It’s a privilege to join the Board at this point in Revolut’s journey. In the past year we’ve launched our UK bank, opened our first banks outside Europe with Mexico and Australia, and applied for a US charter, and the next phase will be more ambitious still.”
Following this appointment, and subject to regulatory approvals, Revolut Group’s Board of Directors comprises:
- Chair: Martin Gilbert
- Executive Directors: Nik Storonsky, Sid Jajodia
- Non-Executive Director: Vlad Yatsenko
- Independent Non-Executive Directors: Caroline Britton, John Sievwright, Michael Sherwood, Ian Wilson, Dan Teodosiu
