European Central Bank (ECB)

The European Central Bank (ECB) is the European Union’s central bank of the 19 EU countries that have so far adopted the Euro. Headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, it was formally implemented on 1 June 1998, replacing the European Monetary Institute (EMI).
