Swiss companies, financial institutions and ecosystem organisations will present solutions spanning artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital assets, investment technology and financial infrastructure at SFF 2026.

Switzerland will mark the 10th year of its participation at the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) when the Swiss Pavilion returns to Singapore EXPO from 18 to 20 November 2026.

The pavilion will bring together Swiss companies, institutions and ecosystem organisations. Their participation will focus on technologies and services shaping the next phase of financial services, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, digital assets, investment solutions and venture development.

Since 2016, when the Singapore FinTech Festival was first launched, Switzerland’s participation has evolved alongside the changing fintech landscape and the growing reach of Swiss financial technology expertise. In 2017, Switzerland was among eight countries represented through dedicated pavilions. By 2019, Swiss participation was already spanning a wider range of companies and solutions, with growth in both the number of companies represented and the breadth of expertise on offer. From early fintech innovators and financial technology firms to a broader ecosystem encompassing digital assets, cybersecurity, AI and financial infrastructure, the Swiss Pavilion has reflected the sector’s expanding priorities. This engagement has also been underpinned by closer institutional ties: in 2016, Switzerland’s State Secretariat for International Finance and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) deepened bilateral financial cooperation, while the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and MAS signed an agreement to strengthen collaboration in fintech. Together, these developments reflect a decade of Swiss engagement with Singapore as a financial and technology hub.

The anniversary comes at a time when financial institutions are exploring how artificial intelligence, digital assets and increasingly interconnected financial infrastructure can be adopted in practice. Alongside the opportunities these technologies create, questions around cybersecurity, trust, regulatory oversight and operational resilience remain central to the evolution of financial services.

Against this backdrop, the Swiss Pavilion will bring together organisations working across different parts of the financial services value chain, from AI and data applications to secure financial infrastructure, investment technology and venture development. The delegation will also include representatives from Switzerland’s financial authorities and industry associations, creating opportunities for industry, policy and institutional perspectives to intersect.

“The tenth anniversary of the Swiss Pavilion is a milestone and opportunity to take stock of how significantly financial technology has evolved and of how much can be achieved when companies, investors, regulators and public institutions engage with one another across markets. Switzerland and Singapore are natural partners in this dialogue because both combine strong financial centres with an international outlook and a focus on trusted innovation,” said Alexandra Baumann, Ambassador of Switzerland to Singapore at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs

Located at Hall 5, booth 5A25 at Singapore EXPO, the Swiss Pavilion will provide a focal point for potential partners to meet Swiss companies developing solutions for financial institutions, investors and technology partners. The participating organisations include:

  • Artificial intelligence and data
  • Cybersecurity and digital infrastructure
  • Digital assets and financial technology
  • Investment, wealth management and financial solutions
  • Innovation, venture development and ecosystem support

In addition, the Swiss Pavilion will host representatives from the State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF), the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and the Swiss Finance + Technology Association, reflecting the breadth of Switzerland’s financial ecosystem and bringing industry, policy, regulatory and central-bank perspectives to discussions on the future of finance.

Daniela Stoffel, State Secretary for International Finance at Switzerland’s Federal Department of Finance will participate in a panel discussion at the Festival, meet exhibitors at the Swiss Pavilion and attend fintech-related events, bringing a policy perspective to discussions with the international financial community.  Together with Leong Sing Chiong, Deputy Managing Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, she will also share her perspectives in an invitation-only fireside chat, hosted by the Embassy of Switzerland, marking ten years of Swiss participation at the festival.

“Singapore is an important meeting point for financial innovation in Asia. For Swiss companies, SFF provides an opportunity not only to present their technologies, but also to understand the needs of financial institutions and partners in the region. The diversity of this year’s delegation reflects the depth of Switzerland’s ecosystem, from financial infrastructure and cybersecurity to AI, investment technology and venture development,” said Fabian Stiefvater, Counsellor & Head of Swiss Business Hub Southeast Asia + Pacific at the Embassy of Switzerland in Singapore.

As financial services continue to evolve amid developments in artificial intelligence, digital assets, cybersecurity and regulation, Swiss businesses hope to be able to share their experiences and learnings across geographies and jurisdictions, build commercial and institutional connections and explore how they can contribute to the future of finance in a meaningful way.
