It is another ordinary Tuesday in Crypto. And in the Solana trenches a token called $TOESCOIN has appeared in lots of people’s social media feeds. Ten polished, pedicured toes wrapped in a 24-karat gold ring. French tips only. The tagline is unapologetic: “10 Toes. 10 Billion MCAP.”
In a landscape already crowded with frogs, dogs, hats and bodily-function tokens, not to mention the “fartcoin”, someone decided the next logical step was luxury feet. No tax. No team wallets. And no roadmap. Holders are not bag-holders, the lore insists. They are connoisseurs.
The numbers are modest by the standards of the bigger runners. Launched in mid-May 2026 on the usual Pump.fun rails, $TOES currently sits around a $6 million market capitalisation with roughly 20,000 holders and a few hundred thousand dollars in daily volume. It has already seen the classic early rocket and the subsequent cooling that defines most of these experiments. All-time high near $0.017 in June. Current price a fraction of that.
Printing toes and not jpegs
What is interesting is not the chart. It is the persistence of the joke. A Japanese VC conversation is whispered. A TikTok creator with a couple of million followers supposedly buys a bag. X timelines fill with Moonshot voting campaigns and endless toe memes. The project’s own site leans fully into the absurdity: “While others print jpegs, we print toes.”
Memecoins have always been attention markets wearing token clothing. $TOESCOIN simply makes the cultural wager more explicit. Foot-related content already forms a multi-billion-dollar niche online. Whether that niche can sustain a speculative token is another question entirely. Most of these experiments end the same way. A few become enduring community brands. Almost none deliver the 10-billion-dollar dream printed on the website.
Still, the episode is revealing. Capital markets and digital assets continue to absorb every corner of internet culture, no matter how niche or ridiculous. The same infrastructure that settles tokenized treasuries and institutional stablecoin flows also prices pedicured toes in real time.
Disruption rarely arrives dressed in a suit, as many of our banking readers will testify. Sometimes it arrives with polished tips.
